Photographing live concerts and shows allows for the visual portrayal of an energy unmatched by any other experience. There is a palpable electricity generated through the performance with the power to enrage, to pacify, to empower, to enlighten, to dishearten, to inspire.

I primarily focus on the musicians, as opposed to the audience, out of an interest for both the physical intricacy required in a challenging performance as well as the cathartic release of emotion that accompanies such a performance.
